Liaoning, Jiangsu and six other provinces and regions will pilot the system of special equipment safety worker supervisors.

The State Administration for Market Regulation and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions recently jointly issued a notice to launch a pilot program for the system of special equipment safety worker supervisors in Liaoning Province, Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province, Shandong Province, Shaanxi Province, and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The pilot areas will combine the characteristics of special equipment-using units in the local area and the operational system of the trade union organization structure. Each region will select no less than 10 units as pilot units based on voluntary principles.
