British Petroleum (BP) announced the appointment of Albert Manifold as the company's Chairman.

On July 21st, British Petroleum announced the appointment of Albert Manifold to succeed Helge Lund as the company's chairman. British Petroleum stated that Manifold will join the board of directors on September 1st as a non-executive director and chairman-elect, and will officially take over the role of chairman on October 1st.
