Shanghai Electric Nuclear Power's first breakthrough in high-end intelligent equipment has passed the special acceptance inspection.

Recently, the "First Breakthrough in High-Performance Forged Components for the Core Equipment of High-Temperature Gas-Cooled Reactor Nuclear Islands" project, undertaken by Shanghai Electric Upheaval Forging Co., Ltd., has successfully passed the expert group evaluation of the Shanghai Economic and Information Commission. This technology has successfully solved the technical difficulties of high-performance requirements and integrated manufacturing of large forged components for the main equipment of a 600MW high-temperature gas-cooled reactor project, achieving the first breakthrough in the set of large forgings for pressure vessels, internal components, and steam generators of the core equipment of high-temperature gas-cooled reactors, filling the international gap. Currently, the related forgings have been used in the manufacturing of the first 600MW high-temperature gas-cooled reactor nuclear power unit equipment in the world, helping China's nuclear power equipment key material supporting capability and advanced nuclear power plant key material research and development work to advance to a higher level.
