According to Ecuadorian media reports on the 20th, a car collision accident occurred in the province of Manab in the western part of the country, resulting in at least 9 deaths. The report said that around 6 a.m. that day, a pickup truck collided head-on with a sport utility vehicle, resulting in at least 9 deaths and 3 injuries. Two of the deceased were minors. According to preliminary investigations, illegally occupying lanes and speeding were the main causes of the accident.
