On June 4th, seeing the public opinion storm growing, Bai Xiang Food, the parent company of Bai Xiang instant noodles, had to issue an apology, renaming the original "duoban" series products as "noodles 120g," and the original "half more" series products as "noodles 110g," and emphasizing that production of the original packaging products would be stopped within the month, with future products ceasing to use "duoban" and "half more." However, more than a month later, Bai Xiang has not completely "rebranded." On July 16th, "Caijing Tianxia" visited several offline channels in Beijing and found that Bai Xiang's "duoban" noodles were still on sale, including "duoban" braised beef noodles, and spicy beef noodles, with no new products on the shelves.
