Zhejiang: By the end of 2027, a thousand digital agricultural factories and a hundred future farms will be built.

According to the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the department recently issued the "Smart Agriculture Leading Area Construction Implementation Plan", proposing to build 1000 digital agricultural factories and 100 future farms by the end of 2027. In recent years, Zhejiang has always regarded smart agriculture as an important engine for promoting the high-quality development of agriculture. In November of last year, the province was approved to build the first national smart agriculture leading area. The plan outlines the phased goals in the overall requirements section: by the end of 2027, build 1000 digital agricultural factories, 100 future farms, and form a new pattern of "low-altitude + agriculture" development, with the informatization rate of agricultural production reaching 52%; by the end of 2030, the mechanism and path for promoting smart agriculture construction in all areas will be basically mature, the leading task of smart agriculture will be basically achieved, and the informatization rate of agricultural production will reach 55%; by the end of 2035, key technologies and equipment will reach the international advanced level, the informatization rate of agricultural production will steadily increase, providing strong support for the construction of a strong agricultural country.
