Chongqing: The city will implement an early retirement subsidy for heavy-duty non-operational diesel trucks that meet National IV and National III emissions standards, as well as light-duty non-operational diesel trucks that meet National IV and National III emissions standards in the central urban areas.

The Chongqing Municipal Government Office issued the "Chongqing Measures to Boost Consumption", which proposes to unleash the potential of automobile consumption. In accordance with national deployment, efforts will be made to actively carry out automobile scrappage and replacement subsidies. Furthermore, efforts will be made to deepen the inspection of vehicles produced by domestic small passenger car manufacturing enterprises, promote the online application and approval of new vehicle registration, and implement a service model for online application, online review, and mail delivery of vehicle registration certificates. The city will also implement a one-stop registration process for the export of used cars and cross-provincial registration for the transfer of used cars, and will innovatively implement remote inspection for vehicle color changes. Efforts will be made to promote automobile circulation consumption reform, support the development of consumption-oriented modification businesses, and expand post-market consumption in sectors such as automobile leasing, races, and RV camping. Subsidies will be implemented to phase out early the heavy-duty non-operational diesel trucks and light-duty non-operational diesel trucks that do not meet the national IV and national III emission standards in the central urban areas.
