The General Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government issued the "Measures to Boost Consumption in Chongqing", proposing to enhance pension protection capabilities. This includes raising the basic pension standards for urban and rural residents, appropriately increasing the basic pension for retirees, implementing the policy of cancelling household registration restrictions for flexible employees to participate in basic pension insurance in their employment locations, carrying out actions to enhance basic home and community elderly care services, and deepening the reform of sustainable operation mechanisms for community elderly canteens. For the purchase of home adaptation products for the elderly by 2025, a subsidy of up to 20% of the actual transaction price, with a maximum subsidy of 3000 yuan, will be provided. There will be a strong push for the integrated development of medical and elderly care, the establishment of family doctor teams to provide home visit consultations, chronic disease management, and other medical services for elderly people living at home. Support for caregiving for disabled elderly people will be increased, and the construction of a 15-minute elderly care service circle will be promoted, with the coverage rate of elderly care facilities in the central urban area reaching 85% within three years.
