Independent Chinese liquor analyst Xiao Zhuqing further confirmed to "Industry Insider" that the establishment of joint venture companies by Maotai distributors' associations in various provinces is indeed true, but the specific functions have not been finalized. These joint venture companies will have the qualifications to develop cultural and creative Maotai liquor in their respective provinces, but the approval process still needs to be completed.
