On July 18th, the first batch of residential old elevator renovation projects supported by special long-term national bonds in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province were all completed and put into use. In November last year, the first batch of residential old elevator renovation projects supported by national bond funds in Kunshan reached 2,196 units, ranking at the forefront among similar cities nationwide. With residents having complete autonomy in choosing brands, TONGLI successfully bid for 2,106 units, accounting for approximately 96%. The project covers 142 communities in the city, benefiting over 50,000 households. It took TONGLI 8 months to complete, and the 2,106th elevator was officially delivered on July 18th, marking the successful completion of the elevator renovation project in Kunshan. Public information shows that by 2024, the renovation of residential old elevators has been included in the scope of support from special long-term national bonds. The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development stated that as of June, special long-term national bond funds have supported the cumulative renovation of 41,000 residential old elevators nationwide, benefiting 1.7 million residents. By 2025, a total of 18 billion yuan in special long-term national bond funds has been allocated to support the renovation of 120,000 old elevators nationwide.
