At today's conference, officials from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that efforts are currently being accelerated to create a tiered cultivation system for manufacturing trial platforms, nurturing trial platforms to empower the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation. Trials refer to the transitional experiments that convert samples in the trial production stage into the production process. They serve as the "intermediate stations" for technology innovation to market application. Manufacturing trial platforms are important carriers for providing trial services. Currently, China's trial platform construction mainly focuses on six key areas urgently needed for national strategic development and industrial growth, including raw materials, equipment manufacturing, consumer goods, information technology, emerging and future industries, and common needs. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has included more than 2,400 trial platforms in a reserve pool, and has selected 241 as the first batch of key trial platforms to be nurtured by the ministry. The goal is to cultivate five or more national-level manufacturing trial platforms by the end of 2025.
