British Petroleum (BP) is selling its onshore wind power business in the United States to LS Power, focusing on its core oil and gas strategy.

According to the Wisdom Financial APP, British Petroleum (BP.US) announced that it will sell its U.S. onshore wind power business to North American energy developer LS Power. This move aims to accelerate the return to the core oil and gas business and reverse the recent weak trend in stock prices.
