In the first half of the year, Zhejiang's export scale surpassed 2 trillion yuan.

Journalists learned from the news briefing held by Hangzhou Customs today that in the first half of this year, the total foreign trade import and export volume in Zhejiang reached 2.73 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.6% year-on-year. Among them, exports exceeded 2 trillion yuan, reaching 2.07 trillion yuan, an increase of 9.1%; imports totaled 659.27 billion yuan, a decrease of 0.4%. The share of foreign trade import and export, exports, and imports accounted for 12.5%, 15.9% and 7.5% respectively, an increase of 0.4, 0.2 and 0.2 percentage points compared to the same period last year. Zhejiang's contribution to the national export growth rate reached 19.8%, ranking first in the country.
