This year, the Junior Class of the University of Science and Technology of China admitted 3 female students nationwide, with 2 from Shanghai. They are all 15 years old and are from the same class.

It is the time for college admissions again. The admission list for the Junior Class of 2025 at the University of Science and Technology of China was announced on the evening of July 16th, with a total of 44 students selected. Among the 44 students admitted this year, 4 are from Shanghai, including 3 from Shanghai Experimental School and 1 from the Second Affiliated Middle School of East China Normal University. It is worth noting that out of the 44 students admitted, only 3 are female, with 2 of them coming from Shanghai Experimental School. According to the school, the 3 students admitted from Shanghai Experimental School are male student Ni Tianyi from the first year class, and female students Cao Yingzhuo and Yan Yudi from the second year class. Shanghai Experimental School is the only experimental school in Shanghai with a characteristic of system reform, implementing a flexible system of ten years with four years of elementary school, three years of junior high school, and three years of high school. Cao Yingzhuo and Yan Yudi have been studying at Shanghai Experimental School since elementary school, and they are both currently 15 years old, equivalent to the age of a typical third year junior high school student in regular schools.
