On July 18, it was learned from the Guangzhou Railway Bureau that in order to deal with the extreme weather effects such as heavy rain and strong winds that may be brought by Typhoon "Wipha," and to ensure the safety of railway operations and the lives and property of passengers, the Guangzhou Railway Bureau plans to start emergency response measures in certain sections of high-speed rail lines such as Guangzhou-Zhuhai and Jiangmen-Zhanjiang, as well as the Guangzhou-Maoming railway line, beginning on July 19. They also plan to implement measures such as speed restrictions or train cancellations on certain trains on these lines. Due to this, some trains at stations such as Guangzhou South, Guangzhou Baiyun, Zhuhai, Zhanjiang West, and Maoming are expected to be delayed to varying degrees.
