In the first half of 2025, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Jiangxi Province reached 16.7196 trillion yuan, calculated at constant prices, representing a year-on-year growth of 5.6%. Industrial growth was relatively fast, with the value added by industries above a designated size increasing by over 8.0% each month and growing by 8.3% in the first half of the year, which was 1.9 percentage points higher than the national average. Consumer market growth remained stable, with the total retail sales of consumer goods increasing by over 5.0% each month, consistently higher than the national average. Sales of products related to the "old for new" policy performed well, and the retail sales of communication equipment, furniture, household appliances, and audio-visual equipment by enterprises above designated size all increased by over 30%. The momentum for transformation and upgrading has strengthened, with industrial technological renovation investment growing by 9.3%, which is 3.9 percentage points higher than the overall investment growth rate.
