IMF: Lowering the proportion of the Swiss franc in the global foreign exchange reserves in the first quarter.

According to the latest data released by the International Monetary Fund on Thursday, in the first quarter of 2025, the share of the Swiss Franc in global foreign exchange reserves has been revised down and is currently unchanged from the previous quarter. The IMF stated in a press release on Thursday, "The COFER data for the first quarter of 2025, released on July 9, 2025, has been revised to address reporting errors related to the Australian Dollar and the Swiss Franc." As of the first quarter of 2025, the share of the Swiss Franc in allocated foreign exchange reserves is currently 0.18%, the same as in the fourth quarter of 2024. Revised data from the IMF shows that the Australian Dollar accounted for 2% of reserves in the first quarter. The IMF stated on July 9 that as of the first quarter of 2025, the US Dollar accounted for 57.7% of global allocated foreign exchange reserves.
