US State Department: Does not support Israel's recent actions in Syria

On July 17th local time, the US State Department condemned the violent events in Syria. The US State Department's Syria Affairs Department stated that all parties must step back and engage in meaningful dialogue to achieve a lasting ceasefire. The US is actively engaging with all parties in Syria to promote de-escalation and continue integrated discussions. The State Department stated that the US does not support Israel's recent actions in Syria and has been in talks with both Israel and Syria.
