Canada has announced that a G-7 meeting will be held on Friday during the G-20 summit.

Canadian Finance Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne announced that he will convene a G7 finance ministers meeting during the G20 summit in the port city of Durban, South Africa on Friday. Champagne expressed his hope that US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen would attend the meeting online. Yellen did not travel to South Africa for the G20 summit.
