Section of G217 Duku Highway implements bidirectional traffic closure control.

Journalists learned from the Xinjiang Transportation Department that, due to continuous rainfall, a section of the G217 Duku Highway from Dushanzi to Qiorma has experienced landslides and mudslides. After comprehensive inspections using drones, remote sensing imagery, and radar by highway experts, it was confirmed that there are risks of rockfalls in multiple areas of this section, making it unsafe for travel. In order to effectively ensure the safety of the public, the Xinjiang Transportation Department has decided to implement a two-way traffic closure from 08:00 on July 18, 2025, to 08:00 on July 21, 2025.
