On the evening of July 17th, Spring Airlines issued a statement to refute rumors, stating: Today, there have been online reports regarding the situation of flight 9C7760 on July 15th. After verification, the content of the report is not true. On July 15th, flight 9C7760 was delayed until 20:50 from Lanzhou to Shanghai Hongqiao due to flow control reasons. During the taxiing phase, there was a temporary mechanical failure on the aircraft. The crew promptly handled the situation following procedures, taxied the aircraft back to the terminal building, and arranged for passengers to disembark. Throughout the process, the aircraft remained on the ground and did not take off as reported, nor did it "fall directly down" as reported, which is completely untrue. Spring Airlines promptly changed the aircraft and the flight departed at 22:45 on the same day, safely delivering passengers to their destination. Spring Airlines always adheres to the principle of safety first, and will never compromise on flight safety for any reason. We deeply apologize for any flight delays caused by this incident, and appreciate the understanding and support of all passengers.
