At around 12:40 on July 16th, the total electricity load in Zhejiang reached 12,565 megawatts, an increase of 232 megawatts compared to the highest load last year, setting a new historical record. Currently, Zhejiang's energy and power system is increasing the supply of electricity within the province and purchasing power from outside the province to ensure stable electricity supply and demand. External electricity supply is an important guarantee for Zhejiang's power supply. This summer, Zhejiang has purchased electricity for the first time from all seven major regions in the country, with the maximum purchased electricity during peak hours reaching 43,400 megawatts, an increase of about 10% compared to last year. At the same time, Zhejiang actively mobilizes resources such as pumped storage and grid-side energy storage to achieve efficient allocation of electricity resources.
