Huaxi Steel: The second 200,000-ton non-oriented silicon steel will be put into operation in August 2025.

Huaxi Steel announced during a conference call that by 2025, the electromagnetic material company will further promote capacity release. 100,000 tons of oriented silicon steel have entered the trial production stage and certification work for products from the State Grid Corporation of China and Southern Power Grid will be promoted. In August 2025, the second 200,000 tons of non-oriented silicon steel will start production, and by the end of 2025, the electromagnetic material company will have a production capacity of 400,000 tons of non-oriented silicon steel and 100,000 tons of oriented silicon steel. While producing high-end silicon steel products, the company will continue to maintain the supply of silicon steel base materials to meet the needs of downstream strategic customers.
