NVIDIA is actively promoting the porting of CUDA to the RISC-V architecture.

At the 2025 RISC-V Global Summit, Frans Sijstermans, Vice President of Hardware Engineering at NVIDIA, revealed that NVIDIA is actively promoting the porting of CUDA to the RISC-V architecture. The plan aims to bring full CUDA acceleration capabilities to the RISC-V platform in the future, improving GPU parallel processing efficiency. Currently, CUDA is only deployed on x86 and ARM architectures.
