Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation launched defect investigations and urged recalls of 10 commercial vehicle manufacturers based on the "Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products", in order to eliminate safety hazards in vehicles. The recall activities involve 10 commercial vehicle manufacturers, including Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd., Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd., King Long United Automobile Industry Co., Ltd., FAW Jiefang Automobile Co., Ltd., FAW Jiefang Qingdao Automobile Co., Ltd., Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd., China National Heavy Truck Group Jinan Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd., China National Heavy Truck Group Jinan Truck Co., Ltd., Shandong Huayao Auto Parts Co., Ltd., and Shandong Luoxiang Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd., totaling 56 vehicle models and 1675 vehicles. The main defects include inadequate protective devices, roof poles, body reflective signs, and driver seat belt reminder functions that do not meet national mandatory safety standards, posing safety risks. The above-mentioned recall is of significant importance in eliminating safety hazards in commercial vehicles, reducing the risk of traffic accidents at the source, and safeguarding the safety of the people's travel.
