In the first half of this year, exports of high-tech products from private Shenzhen companies increased by 16%. Some sectors have moved from technological following to standard setting.

Shenzhen Customs revealed yesterday that in the first half of this year, Shenzhen private enterprises exported high-tech products worth 179.86 billion yuan, an increase of 16% year-on-year. At the same time, Shenzhen private enterprises exported electromechanical products worth 640.06 billion yuan, an increase of 2.5%. Batches of high-tech products and electromechanical products from Shenzhen private enterprises continue to be popular overseas, becoming hot items in the local market.
