Liang Xinxin, of the National Intellectual Property Administration: China's PCT international patent applications for green low-carbon technologies have ranked first in the world for four consecutive years.

Li Xinxin, Director of the Strategic Planning Department of the State Intellectual Property Office, stated at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that in terms of overseas applications, China's PCT international patent applications for green and low-carbon technologies reached 6,356 in 2024, which is 2.3 times higher than in 2020, ranking first in the world for four consecutive years. Chinese enterprises have provided a total of 12,000 green technologies to the World Intellectual Property Organization's green technology platform, making positive contributions to global green development.
