On July 17, the Beijing Municipal People's Government Information Office held a press conference on the economic operation of Beijing in the first half of 2025. Zhu Yannan, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics and spokesperson, stated during the conference that a series of strong factors such as the support and protection of macroeconomic policies, the resilience, vitality, and potential of Beijing's economy itself will provide stable support for the economic development of Beijing in the second half of the year. At the same time, Beijing will introduce and implement policies and measures related to industrial development, boosting consumption, supporting innovation, and assisting enterprises in overcoming difficulties to further stimulate economic vitality. "The economy will maintain a steady and progressive development trend in the second half of the year," Zhu Yannan said.
