Liang Xinxin, Director of the Strategy and Planning Department of the National Intellectual Property Administration, stated at a press conference on "high-quality completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan" held by the State Council Information Office, that high-value invention patents have strongly supported regional innovation and development. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and the Yangtze River Delta region have been active in innovation, with a dense output of high-value invention patents. Among them, the Yangtze River Delta region has the highest number of high-value invention patents, reaching 685,000, accounting for 31.8% of the total national output.
