Reporters learned today at the press conference on "high-quality completion of the '14th Five-Year Plan'" held by the State Council Information Office that in the first half of the year, China's intellectual property industry has made steady progress and improved quality, showing a more prominent trend of high-quality development. The relevant indicators data performed well, laying a solid foundation for the successful conclusion of the "14th Five-Year Plan". The press conference also introduced that in the first half of this year, China's intellectual property reserves have steadily increased. As of June this year, the number of valid domestic invention patents reached 5.01 million, an increase of 13.2% year-on-year, and the number of high-value invention patents per 10,000 people reached 15.3 pieces, reaching a new high.
