Ushu Technology's laser radar measurement and control patent disclosed
According to the Qichacha app, a patent for a "Method and System for Three-dimensional Laser Radar Point Cloud Collection Control" applied by Hangzhou Yushu Technology Co., Ltd. has been announced recently. The patent abstract from Qichacha shows that this invention belongs to the field of laser radar measurement and control technology. The existing low-cost method for collecting laser radar point clouds has a significant accumulation error in angles, which cannot meet the real-time angle tracking demands under high speed operation. The method presented in this invention for three-dimensional laser radar point cloud collection control involves creating a code disk design optimization model, capturing sudden signal changes, designing gaps in the code disk of the three-dimensional laser radar, and optimizing the width of these gaps. This allows for accurate capturing of the periodical sudden changes in pulse signals, effectively reducing angle accumulation errors and improving angle synchronization accuracy, especially suitable for real-time angle tracking demands in high-speed scenarios. Additionally, this invention can eliminate jitter interference of the laser radar and perform spatiotemporal interpolation fusion on multi-circle collection data, generating high-density point cloud data and effectively enhancing angular resolution and point cloud density.
