On July 17th, Smart China officially announced its first plug-in hybrid model - the Smart 5 EHD. It is reported that the new car has a wheelbase of 2900mm, a pure electric range of over 250km, a total range of over 1600km, and a fuel consumption as low as 4.4L per hundred kilometers.
