On July 16, 2025, the first China Internet of Things Logistics Vehicle Demand and Trend Analysis Conference was held in Hangzhou. Ma Zengrong, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, attended and delivered a speech. Ma Zengrong stated that the industry is facing multiple challenges: logistics companies are facing contradictions between ideals and reality in choosing vehicle technology routes; the deep adjustment of the national industrial and transportation structure is bringing significant changes to road transport; standardization in the application of logistics vehicles in different scenarios and their connection with other logistics equipment still needs improvement; and the problem of chaotic freight rates caused by overloading in some regions has not been resolved. In response to these challenges, he pointed out that associations should fully leverage their role as a bridge and link, work together with enterprises to actively reflect demands and transmit information on relevant policies for logistics vehicles. He also emphasized the need to promote in-depth cooperation between logistics companies, truck manufacturing enterprises, and others, to facilitate the flow of information among different ecosystems. Moreover, he stressed the importance of industry associations in actively promoting the standardization of vehicle dimensions, payload, safety performance, etc., and integrating resources such as tires, maintenance, fuel, charging stations, finance, to promote the upgrade of post-market car maintenance services.
