Thermo Fisher will acquire Sanofi's manufacturing facility in New Jersey, USA, to produce essential drugs for the latter.

On July 16, Thermo Fisher Scientific announced that it will expand its strategic partnership with Sanofi to increase drug production in the United States. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Under the agreement, Thermo Fisher will acquire Sanofi's aseptic production base in Ridgefield, New Jersey, and will continue to produce a range of therapies for Sanofi. Thermo Fisher will also expand the use of the facility to meet the growing demand for US production capacity from pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers.
