Thailand will propose a new plan to the United States to avoid tariffs.

The Thai Minister of Finance will hold talks with American trade officials on Wednesday, during which new proposals will be put forward in an attempt to avoid the 36% tariffs threatened by US President Trump. Thai Minister of Commerce Jatuporn Buruspat stated over the phone that Finance Minister Pichai Chunhavajira will have a video conference with US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer to discuss revised proposals, including further tariff reductions on American products.
