According to the latest information from the China Securities Journal app, on July 16, 2025, the national electricity regulatory authority announced that the country's highest electricity load reached a new record high of 15.06 billion kilowatts, surpassing the previous record of 14.67 billion kilowatts set on July 7, which itself broke the record of 14.65 billion kilowatts set on July 4 this year. This marks the first time that the electricity load has exceeded 15 billion kilowatts, an increase of 0.55 billion kilowatts compared to last year's peak load. This week, the national electricity load has remained at high levels, and the peak load management work for the summer is now in a critical period.
