Rainfall has caused some sections of the road in Qinghai Menyuan to be interrupted. Repair work is still in progress.

On the evening of July 15, due to heavy rainfall, some sections of the National Highway 338 Haitian Line in Menyuan Hui Autonomous County, Qinghai Province, collapsed and experienced mudslides, causing road closures. The local transportation department responded promptly by implementing traffic control measures and organizing personnel to clear the roads with the help of large machinery. As of 5pm on the 16th, a total of 163 personnel, 7 loaders, 2 excavators, and 12 dump trucks have been deployed for road maintenance operations. Currently, some sections of the road are partially open for traffic with personnel directing vehicles alternately, while severely affected sections remain under traffic control as repair work continues urgently.
