High temperature orange alert: Some areas in Chongqing, Sichuan, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, etc. can reach above 40.
The China Meteorological Administration continued to issue a high temperature orange alert at 18:00 on July 16th: It is expected that on July 17th, during the day, there will be temperatures of 35C or above in most areas of central Shaanxi to western parts of the Huang-Huai region, most parts of Xinjiang, western Inner Mongolia, and other areas. In particular, in some areas of southern and central Shaanxi, southwestern Shanxi, central Henan, southern and central Hubei, Hunan, central and western Jiangxi, northern Zhejiang, Sichuan Basin, Chongqing, eastern Guizhou, central and western Guangdong, northeastern Guangxi, as well as in parts of western Inner Mongolia, along the Tianshan Mountains and the southern Xinjiang Basin, the highest temperatures can reach 37-39C, and in some areas of western and northern Chongqing, central and southern parts of Sichuan Basin, northwestern Inner Mongolia, Tianshan Mountain region in Xinjiang, and other areas, temperatures can exceed 40C.
