The report on the Indian aviation disaster mentions the Boeing fuel switch; airlines globally are conducting emergency checks.
According to CCTV news, following the investigation of the Air India plane crash mentioning the fuel switch of Boeing aircraft, many airlines from various countries have strengthened the inspection of the fuel switch of multiple models of Boeing aircraft in their fleets. The investigation also revealed that the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States had issued a notice as early as 2018, suggesting non-mandatory inspections of the locking function of the fuel switch of aircraft models such as the Boeing 787, in order to prevent accidental changes in the switch position.
