Since July, the high temperature weather has been continuously strengthening, with stable and increasing demand for thermal coal, while supply has been consistently lower than expected. Therefore, the supply-demand relationship in the thermal coal market continues to tilt towards the seller, supporting the continuation of price increases. As of July 16th, the "CCTD Bohai Rim thermal coal spot reference prices" for the three specifications of 5500K, 5000K, and 4500K were 635, 570, and 504 yuan per ton respectively, with day-on-day increases of 3, 3, and 3 yuan per ton, and week-on-week increases of 14, 19, and 18 yuan per ton.
