In the first half of the year, China's postal and delivery service volume exceeded one billion pieces.

According to information from the State Post Bureau on the 16th, in the first half of this year, the postal industry in China accumulated a total of 104.51 billion pieces of mail, an increase of 16.9% year-on-year. Among them, the express delivery volume totaled 95.64 billion pieces, an increase of 19.3% year-on-year. According to a relevant person in charge of the State Post Bureau, in the first half of this year, the postal industry in China achieved a cumulative business income of 873.09 billion yuan, an increase of 8.3% year-on-year. Among them, the express delivery business income totaled 718.78 billion yuan, an increase of 10.1% year-on-year. The person in charge stated that in the first half of this year, the domestic express delivery volume in China totaled 7.88 billion pieces, an increase of 6.2% year-on-year; the cross-border express delivery volume totaled 85.74 billion pieces, an increase of 20.6% year-on-year; and the international/Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan express delivery volume totaled 2.02 billion pieces, an increase of 22.5% year-on-year.
