The founder of Peter Thiel's Founder Fund Growth II Management company disclosed in an SEC filing submitted late Tuesday that as of July 8, they held a 9.1% stake in BitMine Immersion Technologies. BitMine recently announced a shift to an Ethereum reserve strategy, leading to a buying frenzy in the stock market. BitMine completed a $250 million initial private placement plan last week to accumulate the native cryptocurrency ETH of the Ethereum blockchain. The company announced on Monday that it currently holds a total of 163,142 ETH.
