Shanxi issues orange high temperature warning, with local temperatures possibly exceeding 40 degrees Celsius.

On July 16, 2025, at 10:41, the Shanxi Provincial Meteorological Observatory downgraded and issued an orange high-temperature warning. The warning areas are Linfen, Yuncheng, and Jincheng. It is expected that the highest temperature in the warning areas in the next 24 hours will rise to 37C or above, with some counties and cities in Linfen and Yuncheng reaching above 40C.
