Reporters learned on the 15th that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is currently soliciting opinions on the revision plan of the "Mobile Power Safety Technical Specification". The mandatory national standard to be formulated this time will set stricter technical standards for mobile power devices, including power banks. The mandatory national standard to be formulated this time includes general requirements, product labeling and other basic requirements, overcharge protection, over-discharge protection, short circuit protection, overload protection, incorrect operation protection, drop after cycling, intelligent management requirements for mobile power devices, special requirements such as overcharge, squeezing, thermal abuse, and needle puncture for lithium-ion batteries, key materials for lithium-ion batteries, production process and key process requirements for lithium-ion batteries and battery packs.
