AstraZeneca plans to issue up to 22 million shares for private placement, raising a net amount of approximately HK$1.493 billion.

On July 15, Asia Pharmaceutical announced its plan to distribute existing shares and subscribe for new shares in accordance with the general authorization of subscribing for new shares first and then old shares. The announcement indicated that Asia Pharmaceutical had entered into a distribution and subscription agreement with the seller and distribution agent on July 14. According to the agreement, the seller has agreed to appoint the distribution agent to distribute up to 22 million shares at a maximum price of HK$68.60 per share to the subscribers.
