KeyBanc Capital Markets analyst John Vinh claimed in a report that the yield rates for TSMC, Intel, and Samsung Electronics' 2nm foundry nodes are approximately 65%, 55%, and 40% respectively. John Vinh stated that Intel's 18A yield rate has improved by 5% compared to the previous quarter, reaching 55%, which will help Intel achieve its goal of launching the Panther Lake processor later this year. It is expected that Intel's foundry will lead Samsung Foundry to achieve a yield rate of 65-70% for mass production of 2nm nodes, but by then TSMC's N2 yield rate will reach a higher 75%.
