Sheng Laiyun, Deputy Director of the National Bureau of Statistics, stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office on July 15th that in response to the intensifying phenomenon of "internal competition" in some industries and enterprises in recent times, the Central Committee for Financial and Economic Affairs held a meeting on July 1st and clearly stated that it is necessary to deepen the construction of a unified national market, focus on key difficulties, regulate low-price and disorderly competition by enterprises in accordance with laws and regulations, guide enterprises to improve product quality, and promote the orderly exit of outdated production capacity. Relevant departments are formulating related measures based on the spirit of the meeting to further enhance the regulation of market order.
