Canada's eastern regions are hit with a double blow of high temperatures and air pollution.

On the 14th, the Canadian Ministry of Environment issued a heat warning as several regions in the eastern part of Canada are experiencing high temperatures. The daytime high temperatures may reach between 29 and 32 degrees Celsius, with the heat index between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius. The Ministry also issued an air quality warning, stating that the air quality in the Greater Toronto Area has worsened due to smoke from forest fires in northern Ontario, leading to reduced visibility. On the 14th, the air quality in this area ranked among the worst in the world. The Canadian Ministry of Environment recommends reducing outdoor activities and closing doors and windows as much as possible.
