India launches anti-dumping investigation into linear low density polyethylene from Kuwait and five other countries.

On June 30, 2025, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice stating that, in response to an application submitted by the Chemicals and Petrochemicals Association of India, an anti-dumping investigation has been initiated on linear low-density polyethylene originating from or imported from Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The involved products have Indian customs codes of 39011010 and 39014010. The dumping investigation period for this case is from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, and the injury investigation periods are from 2021 to 2022, 2022 to 2023, 2023 to 2024, and January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
