President Trump will announce a $700 billion investment plan for artificial intelligence (AI) and the energy sector in Pennsylvania on Tuesday. This is the latest move by the White House to accelerate the development of this emerging technology. Investments from multiple companies will include the construction of new data centers, expansion of power facilities, upgrades to power grid infrastructure, and the provision of AI training programs and apprenticeship programs. It is expected that as many as 60 leaders in the AI and energy sectors will attend. Expected attendees include Larry Fink from BlackRock, Alex Karp from Palantir Technologies Inc., Dario Amodei from Anthropic, Darren Woods from ExxonMobil, and Mike Wirth from Chevron.
